The NBBL confirms that this season they will be shooting their games live.

Today, the NBBL confirmed that they have secured a deal with Cable 14 of the Rogers and Cogeco Cable networks to have games shot LIVE in HD programming for viewers across Southern Ontario.

"It's another step in the right direction, said NBBL President Justin Avery. Canada Basketball is on the rise, a beautiful change is happening in this country in sports and I'm just so happy that program companies like Cable 14 are gravitating towards the change. The NBBL has a product for the community that has never been seen before. There are young men in the NBBL that are among the most talented our country has to offer. Their continued efforts to improve their game during their respective off seasons will now be viewed by thousands and will inspire the next generation of hoopsters in this country to work harder then ever!," said Justin Avery

The first LIVE games will be shot on opening night at McMaster University. The featured games for the live programming will be between Blessed Sacrament Nation & the Nine 0 Five's at 8:00 PM followed by the McMaster Marauders versus the Hamilton Hitmans at 9:00 PM.

The deal between Cable 14 and the NBBL will include Regular Season and Playoff games.
