These two sides have already established a storied history together in their stirring rivalry. Toronto 3D was able to get the best of the former Hamilton's Finest squad in the regular season and in the Championship Game in the 2014 NBBL season. Hamilton's Finest has retooled as the Nine O Five's and are looking to dethrone the 2014 NBBL Champions.

Toronto 3D started their NBBL Summer League season out in China as they traveled down as NBBL Champions and representatives of Canada to play in the Chinese Four Nations tournament from May 20th-June 5th. 3D competed against NBA and CBA talent, including the China National “B” TeamNBA D-League’s Iowa Energy, and the NBL Australian Champions, Cairns Taipans. With Toronto 3D back on home soil, they have a rigorous schedule as they recoup the games they missed while competing in China.

We profiled the upgraded 3D roster for this summer earlier this season. Everyone will be gunning for the champs but this Toronto 3D group is ready for the test.

The Nine O Five's had a tough start to the season with a loss to Blessed Sacrament Nation. 905 has rebounded incredibly well with convincing victories in back-to-back games over Burlington Elite and On Point. The reigning 2014 NBBL MVP Tyrone Watson, has been dominant coming off a superb season within the NBLC. Tyrell Vernon appears to be fully recovered from a hampering hamstring injury to start the season. Vernon will be pivotal in order for the 905's to pull out a victory. The acquisitions of Tyrel Edwards and Myles Charvis have been great for the 905's bolstered roster.
