The Week 1 NBBL Player of the Week is Manny Campbell. Manny returns after earning MVP honours in the Fall and hasn't lost a step, nearly notching a triple double in an awesome game against Mohawk. Campbell totalled 21 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals.
The other Top Performers for Week 1 are:
Jordan Johnson - #55 Grizzlies: In the opening game of the season, the Grizzlies made a resounding statement with a convincing victory over Switchin' Clips. Johnson finished with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 1 block.
Jonathan Maxwell - #24 Parlez De Nous: PDN is coming off a Fall League championship and looked poise to be in contention for a repeat this summer. Maxwell tallied 21 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.
Mat Elcock - #3 Mohawk: Matt put on a terrific offensive performance against a tough Parlez De Nous team. Elcock notched 27 (5 three's) points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal.
Ali Askarov - #0 GTA Elite: In a hard fought contest, GTA Elite fell behind at the half but were able to battle back and defeat Made Men. Askarov finished with 14 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal.
